Let's start with my favorite- Blacksmithing

cookset3.jpg

Pictured above is a set of "Fire Irons" that I hand forged, pots not included. These items are similar to those used by the early pioneers and I use them just about every time I go camping. Below is a closer view. The blue coffee pot is hanging from an adjustable hook called a trammel hook, and the big pot is hanging on a pot crane. You can swivle it around away from the fire to tend the pot then swing it back.

Above are some of the cooking utensils, ladle, spatula, spoon, and fork, that I made and use. Also shown above are the lifting tools for lifting hot lids and pots from the fire.Below are a couple of pics showing my grill. You can use it set pots or frying pans on and when you need to you can flip the cross bars over to add more firewood. The crossbars also slide freely on the rails to accomodate any size pot or piece of meat you wish to grill. See my More Hobbies page at the top.
