This photo shows the scouts during one of their favorite activities, Mealtime. I sure am glad we had plenty of grub on hand.
These younguns are bottomless pits. Also, as shown below they like the thunder of a 45 caliber muzzleloading black powder
rifle.

At BTSR another activity that Scouts and Adults alike really enjoy is Rock Climbing and Rapelling. The Scouts spend the week
learning and practing all the techniques and safety requiements.

Then, at weeks end, they get to test their newly learned skills by climbing up to and rapelling off of "Graduation Rock".
See the tiny specs. Those are some of the Scouts coming down the ropes. This cliff is about 150 feet high. Don't worry though,
they're not doing this by themselves. The instructors are right there with them.

Here's "Little Stinky"!!! We had just experienced a huge rain storm and we guessed that this baby skunk got separated
from the rest of his family. Next thing we knew he'd taken up residence in our supply tent. His presence didn't create any
problems for us. He let us in the tent when we needed in and we kept him fed with apples. In a few days he left.

Directly above you can barely make out the dark clump in the top of that pine tree. That is the nest of a pair of Mexican
Eagles. They've been nesting there for several years now. They arrive in the spring, hatch and raise their young, and depart
soon after.Directly below is another one of the sites on the "Must See" list. It's called Natural Bridge.

Here are a couple of pics of some of the Indian Paintings located just off of BTSR property. These are quite large. The pic
to the left with the young man in it gives you some idea as to the proportion of size.By the way we DO get permission from
the property owner each and every time we visit this site.
