Heatin it up at our local Scout-O-Rama

Last spring I put on a Blacksmithing demonstration at our local Scout-O-Rama. In the top photo I'm waiting on the iron to get hot enough to start forging. In the next pic I'm pulling the iron out of the forge to begin working it. Everyone sure seemed to enjoy watching and asking questions. It's not something they get to see very often. The three pics below are of a "Chuck Wagon" that a friend of mine brought out and placed near my demonstration. It sure added a lot to the whole site.

Below here I am shown indulging in another one of my favorite passtimes. That's right. I admit it. Naptime is an important part of my life, whether the mood stikes me or not. The top photo was taken many years ago at a Scout Camporee. We were supposed to be watching a demonstration. The next one is a more recent one. As you can see not much has changed over the years.
