Wind Spirit Acres

I love to Rendevous up in the mountains or out on the praire. Pictured above is a Rendevous that I attended along the Lympia Creek near Ft. Davis, Texas. Below I'm walking past the kitchen to go get water.

The three pics directly above were taken at The West Texas Rendevous at Hords Creek Lake near Coleman, Texas. The is a Boy Scout event sponsored by four local Scout Councils held every other year. In the first photo I'm in the process of setting up my tipi. Next, is the finished product. I do love to camp in my tipi. It's very spacious and comfortable in any weather. In the third pic I'm shown demostrating Tomahawk Throwing to a group of Scouts before I let them try.

Here Comes The Infantry!!! This group of reenactors demonstrated their marching skills, uniforms, and blackpowder rifles, and managed to get of several volleys of blank rounds. Also, somewhere off in the distance we could hear the BOOM of a cannon going off.
